Quite Simply…

I love flowers. They speak to me. Inspiration from a visit to a country garden in Pandora, Ohio led me to the creation of Lush Gardens.

One summer, a friend invited us to his home to meet his extended old-world Swiss Mennonite family in the idyllic countryside of Ohio. After dinner, his mother offered me a tour of her beautiful organic garden. She told me how she and her grandchildren harvested the botanicals and made organic, healthy skin care products. She used recipes passed down to her from her Swiss ancestors. I was quite simply amazed.

When I discovered that botanicals could be harvested to create skin care products, a whole new world opened up to me. I began to ponder how the intrinsic goodness of the flowers and fruits and vegetables could benefit and create healthy glowing skin.

Ingredients became my passion!…

and I was passionate about creating the perfect formulas. So began the long, rigorous journey to develop natural Swiss origins skincare but with additional high-performance ingredients created from the garden. When I researched the cosmetic industry, I discovered that there were ingredients in many skin care products that were known to cause cancer. Some of them had been found in biopsied breast tissue. I am a breast cancer survivor, and I was shocked at how common this was. And so, I became an ingredient geek. I was fascinated by the potential of the natural ingredients I found. The products had to work on me or down the drain they went.

Harnessing my college chemistry and armed with high performance natural ingredients, I began two years of intensive research and trial and error in my kitchen. I was passionate about creating multi-tasking natural skincare products that stood up to my uncompromisingly high standards while still remaining true to the Swiss origin.

At last, I developed exciting Garden to Face Beauty formulas with fabulous results. My friends and family love them. And now I am pleased to present Lush Gardens Beauty to you.

With love,
Linda
